The Wellness Center is founded on the belief that we were created to share with one another in our burdens and that true healing and peace is given to us by God. We are here to offer care and support in group and seminar settings to address a variety of concerns.

Wellness Groups

For women struggling with heartbreak, sexual issues, and/or love addiction, there is hope. You can have freedom and a mended heart. Whether you feel like Mary Magdalene, heartbroken and mourning a loss (John 20:11-18), the woman caught in adultery lying in shame at the feet of Jesus (John 8:1-11), or the woman at the well thirsting after relationships that never fill the emptiness inside (John 4:1-42), becoming part of a group with other women can help you discover the victory you have been seeking. You can have real lasting freedom. Join us Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00pm, starting May 15th, as we begin the 8 Pillars to Freedom curriculum. To sign up, contact Brittney Vela at (951) 445-1659.

Conquered Series

For the first time in history, a cinematic teaching series on sexual integrity is here to help men get to the root of bondage, while offering proven principles and practical tools to walk in freedom from sin, like pornography. This series helps men understand and walk out a biblical view of sexuality. The world’s view of sexuality has created an epidemic in our culture and within the church. This class is for those that are struggling and those that may not be, but want to be knowledgeable about how to help those that are struggling. To sign up, contact Stephen Ammann at ammanncounseling@gmail.com.

DivorceCare is designed to ease the painful and difficult transition of divorce through group counseling. The next session will begin Wednesday, January 23rd, 6:30 to 8:00pm in room 16. For questions, contact barry@refugecounseling.com. To register, follow the link below.

Seminars

We periodically offer seminars in partnership with the Impact Center to encourage questions and group dialogue about difficult subjects. These seminars are held for one night, typically on a weekday evening, and include a time for questions and answers following presentations from pastors and guest speakers. We have previously offered seminars on the topics of homosexuality, the LDS faith, and abortion. Check back for upcoming events.
