Life is an incredible journey which brings both celebration and challenges, joy and pain. It is my honor to be welcomed into your journey to identify your goals and values and move towards a fulfilling and flourishing life even when circumstances are unstable and rocky. You will find a nonjudgemental and compassionate space to explore difficult questions, process painful experiences, and discover the richness life offers.

I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) along with a client-centered approach to collaborate with each client on their unique path and help you move towards a life which aligns with your core values. I love working with children and teens and am trained in play therapy techniques as play is the language of children. I aim to give even the youngest clients a voice and the ability to develop a deeper understanding of what they are experiencing emotionally alongside practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a researched based trauma therapy that can quickly help you move through and heal from difficult and traumatic experiences such as PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I also focus on adoption and adoption related experiences and work with adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents, and families touched by adoption.

Personal Interests

I have been married to my incredible husband for 17 years and I have been married to my incredible husband for over 17 years and most of my free time consists of raising our 5 children and keeping their schedules organized. I enjoy reading, watching sports, running, playing outside with my family, board games, going to the movies, and family vacations.

• Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Liberty University
