I love getting the opportunity to sit with clients and enter into their journey, wherever they may be. I see a variety of struggles that bring people to the place of seeking counseling and I know reaching out for help can be a difficult step. My goal is to help each person feel heard, connected with, and hopeful that they can find growth and healing through the counseling process. I work with individuals and couples, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, addiction, family of origin issues, co-dependence, and spiritual struggles. Since each individual and couple I meet is unique, I aim to tailor my approach to best fit their needs, background, and situation, though much of my approach is influenced by attachment theory, emotion focused therapy, and understanding historic and present family systems. My faith guides the approaches and views I hold to in my counseling, and I believe my role is to help guide and encourage the process of healing and change as God is working in the life and heart of the client.
Personal Interests
I enjoy spending time with family and community, being out in the beauty of nature, and watching my kids explore and learn new things. Most of my individual hobbies involve something creative, and I especially love painting or DIY projects while taking in a good audiobook or podcast.
