Susie Martinez

MA, LCPC, NCC

I am committed to providing compassionate and individualized psychotherapy in a warm, safe and accepting environment. In our work together we will strive to bring about the emotional growth, change and healing you desire. I use a flexible and integrative approach to therapy within an attachment focused framework. How we cope with difficulties in our life is greatly affected by our past and present relationships and experiences. We will focus on your unique strengths and abilities to conquer troubling issues as we dispel difficult messages you have received and internalized in the past. If you desire to incorporate your faith into your therapy sessions, I am a person of faith and we will work together to draw upon this strength as one strategy for healing. Unique to my practice is 18 years of work with victims of crime, trauma and PTSD patients.

I look forward to meeting you and embarking on your journey of healing together.

Personal Interests

When not working I enjoy quilting, gourmet cooking, traveling and love spending time with friends and family. I am married to my husband of over 38 years and have two adult children.
